Maintenance is essential to extend the life of any
farming equipment, to improve performance
and provide greater safety. The operation times
indicated in this manual are to be used as a
reference for normal usage conditions. They can
vary according to the type of service, environment,
seasonal factors etc.
Maintenance schedule
Every 10 working hours
At the end of every working day, clean the
machine so that its parts are always in good
working conditions.
Lubricate cardan crosshead.
Check for hydraulic oil leak and for damaged
parts.
Make sure blades are in good condition, sharp
and properly secured.
Every 25 working hours
Lubricate rotor bearings through grease
fittings.
Lubricate transmission shaft bearings through
grease fittings as per Figure 1.
Every 50 working hours
Check whether belts are properly stretched.
Check whether all screws and nuts are
properly tightened.

Maintenance and servicing
Before servicing the machine, stop the
motor, disconnect from TDP, use parking
brakes and place equipment horizontally on
the ground.
Before injecting lubricant through grease
fittings, clean them to prevent dust and
weird objects from getting mixed with the
grease, decreasing the lubrication effect.
Regularly lubricate equipment for efficiency,
to extend life and improve performance. Inject
grease through grease fittings with a pump in the
following points:
A, B (Fig.1) transmission shaft bearing.
C, D (Fig. 2-3) steering wheel shaft bearing.
E (Fig. 4) output device base.
Recommended grease: SHELL GADUS S1
