Notes:
Do not use the chains to transport or
support cardan transmission when work
is done. Use proper support.
Fit the male and female parts of the
cardan shaft and fit the female side to
the PTO shaft of the TR 5600T and then
fit the male cardan shaft to the PTO shaft
of the tractor until the click is heard,
showing that it is in the correct coupling
position on both sides.
After mounting and adjusting the
protection currents, move the hydraulic
inclination of the tractor and check the
clearance between the male and female
gimbal by placing the machine at the
recommended inclination of a maximum
of 15°.
Notice that as the machine moves the
cardan shaft male and female approach
to the point of leaning, if this happens,
turn off the power take off immediately.
Remove the male and female cardan
shaft and re-cut, in order to leave a
minimum clearance of 1 to 2 centimeters
between the cardan shaft tips.
It is not recommended to work with
the male and female cardan shafts
without clearance; this can damage the
tractor and shredder PTO shafts. To
perform maneuvers, remove one of the
cardan shaft parts.After mounting and

Measurement of the cut:
Dividing the measurement found between shafts by 1.3 will
provide the measure to cut the cardan shaft.

When it is at its maximum opening, the
plastic safety protections and the shafts
must be overlapped by at least 1/3 of its
length.
When in its maximum closing position,
the minimum distance allowed is 1 to
2 cm.
Keep terminals aligned.
Check TDP minimum and maximum length
required to couple the machine/ tractor. In the
event of problems, get in touch with TRAPP
nearest Technical Assistant.
These operations must be made on
adequate floor only. Stop tractor,
disconnect from TDP and use parking
brakes. If necessary, lift the machine
from the ground. For safety reasons,
place it on a support to prevent
accidents.
