Dräger Service or by authorised technical personnel.
6.1
Monthly
Check measurement gas dampening mechanism for
damage.
Make sure hose connections are tight.
6.2
Every 6 months
Inspect the flow rates.
Calibrate the electrochemical sensors.
Calibrate the PIR 7200.
Check the functionality of the differential pressure sensor.
6.3
Every 6 months or if contaminated with
oil (≥ 0.5 mg/m³)
Calibrate the PID 5000.
Replace Dräger-Tube for gas treatment.
6.4
Every year
Have an electrician ensure that the screw connections on
the electrical components are tight.
6.5
Every year or in the event of ammonia
contamination
Replace the measurement gas dampening mechanism.
6.6
Every 8760 operating hours
NOTE
► 8760 operating hours correspond to, for example, a
continuous operation of 365 days (1 year).
► To prevent extended standstill times of the Air Guard, it is
recommended that the following component be replaced
after the corresponding number of operating hours.
Replace the front insulation of the UV lamp of the PID
5000.
6.7
Every 17520 operating hours
NOTE
► 17520 operating hours correspond to, for example, a
continuous operation of 730 days (2 years).
► To prevent extended standstill times of the Air Guard, it is
recommended that the following components be replaced
after the corresponding number of operating hours.
Replace the sensor block of the PID 5000.
Replace the UV lamp of the PID 5000.

Cause
The device has been put in
Standby mode.
Remedy
If Standby mode is not desired, the settings must be adjusted.
6.8
Every 2 years
Calibrate the moisture sensor.
6.9
Every 6 years

Storage and transport
WARNING
Risk of equipment damage
The measurement gas dampening mechanism must be
removed before the Air Guard is disassembled, and the
connectors must be sealed with the protective caps included in
delivery.
► Deinstallation and re-commissioning of the Air Guard may
only be done by authorised technical personnel.
Close the inlet connections with dust caps to prevent
contamination. Observe the temperature range (see chapter
9). Protect the product against direct sunlight.
