Product-related warnings
Manipulation of pressurised components
DANGER
Pressurised components such as the ends of pipes, may
become detached with force due to manipulation and the
resulting pressure surge may cause life-threatening injuries.
► All work on the device is only permitted to be carried out
when depressurised.
► With all described procedures, the valves should always be
opened and closed slowly. Never unfasten or tighten hose
lines and pipe screw connections under pressure.
CAUTION
The door of the Air Guard may only be opened when the
device is in a depressurised state.
► Otherwise, there could be a hazard from pressurised
components; for example, as a result of loosened hose
lines.
Other hazards

atmospheres. The device is not approved for use in explosive
atmospheres. Under certain conditions, an explosion could be
the result.
CAUTION

breathing air
► The quality of the air supply must meet the requirements for
breathing air in accordance with DIN EN 12021, and only
oil-free and grease-free tools may be used for all work.

Risk of equipment damage due to non-permissible pressure
range of the breathing air supply
If the breathing air supply provided by the operator side is
under a too high pressure or opened too quickly, the device
could be damaged.
► Observe the permissible pressure range of max. 10 bar
(LP) and max. 330 bar (HP) for the external breathing air
