nector (pin 6, see Tab. 13 [} 30]).
To start the pump, pin 5 must be connected to GND.
Further functional applications of "Remote ON/OFF" can be
found in Chapter Start parameters of the pump [} 36].
In order to control the ON and OFF behavior of the pump, the
signal from the "Remote ON/OFF" pin ( Tab. 13 [} 30]/Pin 6)
can be parameterized. In this case, various signal states can
be used to start and stop the pump. This parameter is set in
different ways depending on how the pump receives its speed
setpoint setting (analog inputs or via UART).
With analog speed setpoint
After the supply voltage is switched on, the pump does not
start until a rising edge (from low to high) is measured at the
"Remote ON/OFF" input ( Tab. 13 [} 30]/Pin 6). The pump is
switched off at a falling edge.
Fig.4: Analog speed setpoint setting, Pump start: OFF
The pump responds in direct proportion to the state of the
"Remote ON/OFF" input. That is to say, when a logic "low" is
at the input, the pump is OFF, and when a logic "high" is at
the "Remote ON/OFF" input, the pump is ON.
When the supply voltage to the pump is switched on, the state
of the "Remote ON/OFF" is taught in. In this process, the cur-
rent state of the "Remote ON/OFF" level is defined as the
new state for Pump OFF – see figure below.
