Instruction for the user

The Motorcast compact operates on the centrifugal
casting principle.
It is designed for the DeguDent casting ring system.
The use of gypsum and phosphate-based
investments is possible, as well as the use of ring
less casting systems.
The Motorcast compact is equipped with an
electronic, centrifugal, RPM controller, which permits
casting speed to be varied in a range between 350
to 450 rpm. Thus, the unit can be adapted to the
investment employed, alloy types, and
characteristics of the dental casting.
The RPM setting can be adjusted on the control
display of the panel board.
Initial Operation - Placement of the unit
Place the Motorcast compact on a stable, level stand, elevated to working height.
As with any centrifugal casting equipment, the apparatus will shake slightly with every run.
For this reason, insure that equipment is on a stable, level stand so that it will not slide off.

Adjustment of the counterweight
Before each casting, the counterweight must be adjusted for the size of the ring employed. Only in
this way can a smooth run be achieved.
