Do the figure and the card match?
• Yes! The child wins the card and figure, placing them in front of him. He now gets to go
again.
• No! The figure is returned to the bag and the card is turned face down again.
Now it is the next child's turn.
The game is over as soon as all pairs have been found. The child who was able to collect the
most pairs, wins the game.
Game 3: Now I've heard everything!
A suspenseful sound & hearing game for 1 to 6 children ages 4 and older and a game guide.
Learning areas:
Differentiated hearing and precise observation, imitating sounds, responding to audio infor-
mation
Game preparation
Distribute 12 cards evenly among the children. The children lay the cards face up in front of
them. The figures corresponding to the cards are placed in the center of the playing area. In-
sert the CD into the CD player and put the player within easy reach. The rest of the cards and
figures, as well as the die and cloth bag, will not be needed and come back in the game box.
Before beginning the game, listen to the CD together. Stop the CD after each sound to allow
the children to match the sound to the appropriate figure.
Let's play!
Everyone plays at once. Play the CD, setting it on random play or shuffle, as well as on repeat.
The child who recognizes a sound corresponding to one of the cards in front of him, stands
up, imitates the sound and sits down again.
Did the sound match the card?
• Yes! The child may take the corresponding figure and place it on the card.
• No! When the child stood up although the sound does not match the card, he does not
get a figure.
Pointer
To accommodate younger or slower children, stop the CD after each sound, allowing more
time to match sounds to cards or cards to sounds.
End of the game
The game ends the moment a child has won a figure for every card in front of him, thereby
winning the game.
