3.2

Integrated peristaltic tube pump

The integrated peristaltic pump is used to cool tissue in order to prevent damage to the tissue. It may only be
operated with watery solutions, such as 0.9% Sodium Chloride irrigation solution (Art. No. 1707) or "Ringer" solution.
Supplying medication using the integrated pump is expressly prohibited.

Modification and misuse

If modifications are made by the user/operator or a third party to the MD 30 and the accessory equipment
provided, or if these items are used by these individuals for a purpose other than that for which the items
were designed (according to chapter 1.1 Intended use and operation), the manufacturer assumes no
responsibility and the guarantee is void.
