Solid fuel boiler
In the solid fuel boiler function, a pump is controlled to load the thermal energy generated by a
solid fuel boiler in a storage.
The solid fuel boiler function controls the load pump of a solid fuel boiler based on the temper-
ature difference between the solid fuel boiler probe and the storage probe.
If the control output (Relay R1) is used with this function, speed control with a PWM / 0-10 V
pump is also possible.
Wood boiler
Activate the function
Wood b. T.min
Minimum temperature in the solid fuel boiler required to start the pump.
If the temperature in the solid fuel boiler exceeds the temperature set here, the relay activates
the pump, if the other start conditions are met.
If the temperature read on the boiler probe falls below the Wood b. T. min. - DT wood b. off, the
relay deactivates the pump.
Δt wood b. on
Difference in activation and deactivation between solid fuel boiler (SFB) and storage.
If the temperature difference between the defined probes exceeds the value set here (DT wood
b. on), the function activates the assigned output.
If the set temperature difference between the solid fuel boiler and storage is less than Δt wood
b. off, the function deactivates the assigned output (relay or signal output).
Storage Tmax
Maximum temperature in storage. If exceeded, the relay is switched off.
Boiler probe
Probe used as a solid fuel boiler probe.
Storage probe
Probe used as a storage probe.
