ECOTRONIC HiTech
Thermostat
Through the thermostat function, it is possible to add energy to the system, simultaneously
controlling the time and temperature.
Temperature values set too high can cause overheating or damage to the system.
Overheating protection must be the user's responsibility!
Other values, e.g. Teco, apply in Eco mode.
Thermostat
DHW request
The thermostat is started for a DHW-heat request.
Heating circuit request
The thermostat is started with a heating-heat circuit request.
Tset
Target temperature of thermostat sensor 1. Below this temperature, the thermostat switches on
until the reference TH + hysteresis is reached.
Hysteresis
Set point temperature hysteresis.
Thermostat sensor 1
TH Set is measured with thermostat probe 1. With a thermostat probe connected, the relay
switches on if the "TH Ref" in thermostat probe 1 is lower and switches off if "TH Ref" + hystere-
sis is exceeded in thermostat probe 2.
Thermostat sensor 2
Optional switch-off sensor
If "TH target" + hysteresis on thermostat sensor 2 is exceeded, the relay will switch off.
Teco
T Set for energy saving mode
If the Energy saving mode (see "Energy saving mode" on page 164) is active during a solar
load, this set "Teco" value will be used as a reference value instead of "TH reference". When
the temperature drops below T eco in thermostat probe 1, the relay is switched on and heats
up to "Teco" + hysteresis.
