4.3 Δt Solar storage X
Difference in activation and deactivation temperature for probe X: if the difference in solar Δt
between the reference probes is exceeded and the other conditions are also met, the control-
ler will activate the pump/valve on the corresponding relay. If the temperature differential falls
within Δt Off, the pump/valve will be switched off again.
If the set temperature difference is too low, the controller may not work effectively,
depending on the system and the position of the probes. For speed adjustment
(see "6.3 Speed control" on page 160), special intervention conditions are ap-
plied!
Example: If more storage tanks or storage areas are integrated into the system, it is possible
to specify Δt for each storage tank or storage area probe. The "X" in the priority of
the menu items Δt solar S(X) indicates the probe of the relevant storage tank or
storage area.
Solar Δt for the first storage tank is then set under solar Δt S2 and for the 2nd stor-
age tank under solar Δt S3.
4.4 Tmax S2: Shutdown temperature in sensor 2
If this value is exceeded in probe 2, the controller deactivates the pump or associated valve. If
this value on sensor 2 is lower and the other conditions are met, the controller will turn on the
pump or valve.
Temperature values set too high can cause overheating or damage to the system.
Overheating protection must be the user's responsibility!
In multi-storage systems, if the stop temperature S2 is exceeded, the next storage tank is ac-
tivated.
4.5 Tmax storage tank X: Deactivation temperature in probe X in multi-storage
systems
If this value is exceeded in probe X, the controller deactivates the pump and/or the associated
valve. If the probe (X) falls below this value and the other conditions are also met, the controller
reactivates the pump and/or the associated valve.
Temperature values set too high can cause overheating or damage to the system.
Overheating protection must be the user's responsibility!
In multi-storage systems, if the stop temperature S(X) is exceeded, a storage tank installed
downstream or a storage area is activated.
