PWM / 0-10V off
This voltage/signal is emitted if the pump is turned off (pumps that can detect a cable breakage
require a minimum voltage/minimum signal).
PWM / 0-10V on
This voltage/signal is needed to start the pump at minimum speed.
PWM / 0-10V max.
With this value it is possible to determine the maximum voltage level/maximum frequency for
the highest speed of the pump in energy saving mode, e.g. used during cleaning or manual
operation.
Show signal
Shows the pump signal set in text and graph diagram.

6.3 Speed control

If the speed control is activated, ECOTRONIC HiTech offers the possibility, through a special
internal electronic system, of changing the pump speeds according to the process.
This function should only be activated by a technician. Depending on the pump
in use and the pump level, the minimum speed should not be set too low, as the
pump or system could be damaged. Observe the manufacturer's instructions! If
in doubt, the min. speed and the pump level should preferably be set higher and
not lower.
Selectable type of control
Here you can set the following variants for speed control:
Off:
there is no speed control. The connected pump is on or off at maximum speed.
M1 mode:
the controller activates the max speed setting after the bleed time. If the temper-
ature difference Δt between the reference sensors is lower than the set temper-
ature difference Δt R1, the speed will be reduced. If the temperature difference
between the reference sensors is higher than the set temperature difference Δt
R1, the speed will be increased. If the controller has reduced the pump speed
below the lowest level and the Δt between the reference sensors is still lower
than the off Δt, the pump is turned off.
M2 mode:
the controller activates the min speed setting after the bleed time. If the temper-
ature difference Δt between the reference sensors is higher than the set temper-
ature difference Δt R1, the speed will be increased. If the temperature difference
Δt between the reference sensors is lower than the set temperature difference
Δt R1, the speed will be reduced. If the controller has reduced the pump speed
below the lowest level and the Δt between the reference probes is still lower than
the off Δt, the pump is turned off.
