Copyright and licensing agreements

Dräger products that utilise software use open source software depending on the
configuration. This is regularly subject to special licensing terms that take priority to
the extent that they apply. A Dräger product may be subject to several open source
software licensing terms, which apply for the relevant software components. Further
information on the open source software used in this product is available from the
following website: www.draeger.com/opensource.
4 System components
4.1

Base Unit

The Base Unit is the base assembly of the REGARD 3000 system and contains the
following components:
– Housing for wall mounting and holder for the Display Unit
– Docking Station for the up to 3 modules
– Power supply unit
– Horn
The Docking Station manages the power supply of all its modules as well as the
power supply for the associated transmitters indirectly via the modules (for
transmitters with a max. current consumption of 500 mA). An external power supply
is required for transmitters with a current consumption >500 mA.
The entire system communication between the modules and, if interlinked, with
other Docking Stations takes place via the Docking Station. For further information

Additional components are required for assembly in a cabinet. For further
information see: "REGARD 3000 components", page 102. No power supply unit is
required for a cabinet assembly.
