Move the choke lever to the right (if the engine has recently stopped and it
is still hot, choke position procedure may not be necessary).

Smoothly, pull the starter rope until you find a slight resistance and then let
the rope recoils. Then pull the rope energetically to start the engine,
according to the image below.
NOTE: If the rope recoils abruptly, the spring or the rope itself may be
damaged. This is not covered by the warranty.
NOTE: After pulling, do not release wilfully the handle to avoid hitting the
machine. Control the handle tightly until it is fully recoiled.
NOTE: Never pull the starter rope while the generator is running.
