6. Network Configuration
6.1.1 Configuring via Web-Based Interface
To set up the system via your web browser, follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Use a Cat5 network cable to connect the interface's network port to the network. Launch your web browser and enter the
default IP address 192.168.1.100 in the address bar.
Step 2: Log in as Administrator (default username/password: admin/password, case sensitive).
Step 3: Click System g Administration g User Manager to set up accounts and passwords under the "Local Authentication"
section. The access permissions for the account types are as follows:
1) Administrator: Allowed to modify all settings.
2) Device Manager: Allowed to modify device-related settings.
3) Read Only User: Allowed to view settings only.
Manually specify whether users are allowed to log in from other LANs. If login attempts from external connections are to be blocked,
select Only in This LAN. Otherwise, select Allow Any.
Step 4: Click System g Administration g TCP/IP to set Host Name, IP address, Subnet Mask and Gateway IP for the interface.
Step 5: Click Time Server to manually set time and date for the system, or enable automatic time synchronization between the
interface and the time servers.
