CEBORA S.p.A.
Check resistance at terminals of
solenoid (224) = 57 ohm
approximately. If > MOhm (winding
broken), replace solenoid (224).
Check for presence of gas in
supply fitting W-X, also make sure
there are no blockages in the
power source/wire feed unit gas
hoses
Replace the solenoid (224)
3.5.7 System powered, wire feed motor not working
TESTING WIRE FEED MOTOR
□ Motor control board (222), connector J14, terminals 1(+) and 2(-) with 10m/min. set =
17 Vdc approximately, in MIG with key BH pressed on wire feed unit panel (A).
□ Motor control board (222), connector J14, terminals 1(+) and 2(-) in MIG mode, with
start button pressed, when operating knob AN on panel A, motor speed must vary
from minimum to maximum rpm.
Check the wiring between J14 of
motor control board (222) and wire
feed motor (208).
Make sure that there are no
mechanical impediments blocking
the motor.
With the power source off,
disconnect the terminals of motor
(208) from connector J14 of
control board (222), check the free
terminals to ensure motor
resistance = 7 ohm, if > Mohm
motor winding interrupted, replace
motor
Replace motor control board (222)
and/or motor (208).

Check wiring between J5 motor
control board (222), terminals 1-3 in
MIG mode and terminals 2-4 in TIG
mode and solenoid (224)
Check resistance at terminals of
solenoid (224) = 57 ohm
approximately. If 0 ohm, replace
solenoid (224) and/or motor control
board (222).
Replace motor control board (222)
and/or solenoid (224)
