3.6.14- 42 - Error in motor encoder signal (208).

The signal supplied by the encoder incorporated in motor (208) is used as a reaction
signal for motor speed regulation. "Error 42" indicates that the signal supplied by the
encoder is insufficient for the reference signal generated by control board (37) and
therefore motor speed (208) is out of control. Check connection between motor (208)
and J11 of motor control board (222); Perform the wire feed motor operating tests in
section 3.5.7.
3.6.15- 53 - Start button pressed at power up or during reset due to
overtemperature
The alarm for excessive temperature causes power source shut-down, with alarm type
(TH1 or TH2) indicated on the control panel.
These alarms reset automatically once the temperature returns within permitted limits.
The reset may occur when the start command is present. Therefore, to avoid sudden
start-up of the power source due to this random reset, this situation is detected and
causes the power source to shut down, indicating error 53 "Release start button" on the
LCD display. To reset correct operation, remove the start command (see section 3.5.4).

3.6.16- 54 - Current other than zero short-circuited at start-up

When the power source is turned on, the control checks operating conditions by running
a short no-load output voltage generation test
On this occasion, it is important to ensure that the torch does not touch the workpiece to
be welded or the welding bench.
Error 54 indicates a possible short-circuit or loss of insulation in the power circuit at the
output of diode assembly (27) and inductor (52).
Check the wiring between J22 control board (37) and current transducer (25); power
wiring between cathode terminals of diode assembly (27) and power source + K or N
output terminal and between the central socket of transformer (53), inductor (52) and
power source output terminal - L.
If there are any defective connections, repair them and replace any damaged
components.
