Crankcase Breather

(Refer to the Safety Precautions on page 43.)
1. Remove the crankcase breather tube plug (1) from
the tube and drain deposits into a suitable
container.
2. Reinstall the crankcase breather tube plug.
Service more frequently when ridden in rain, at full
throttle, or when deposits can be seen in the
transparent section of the crankcase breather tube.

• Your motorcycle does not need oil additives. Use the
recommended oil.
• Do not use oils with graphite or molybdenum additives.
They may adversely affect clutch operation.
• Do not use API SH or higher oils displaying a
circular API "energy conserving" service label on
the container. They may affect lubrication and
clutch performance.
