Power supply unit (optional)
1. Connect the connector of the external power supply
unit to the USB – Box.
2. Plug the socket of the power cord into the power
supply unit securely.
3. Connect the plug of the power cord to a properly
grounded two-pole-and-earth socket-outlet.
Charging the storage batteries
The storage batteries should be charged prior to initial
start-up. To do this, just connect the USB X-ray box to
the activated PC or the power supply unit for some time.
It is also advisable to refresh the storage batteries when
starting the unit up for the first time. For more informa-
tion, please refer to the chapter "Maintenance and ser-
vice recommendations".
Mounting the connector cap
ATTENTION
BEFORE connecting the sensor for the first time, clip the
connector cap over the sensor.
NEVER use the sensor without the connector cap.
All sensors used with the USB – Box must be connected
with the connector cap.
1. Place the plug into the larger of the two connector
caps (see illustration). Two free grooves must remain
outside.
2. Clip on the second half.
