Side effects
Systemic side effects are not known. Isolated cases of contact allergies with products of similar composi-
tion have been described.
Interactions
Discolouration may occur in contact with cationic oral fluids and with plaque elevators or chlorhexidine.
2. COMPONENTS FOR ADHESIVE ATTACHMENT OF COMPONEER BRILLIANT
Etchant Gel S, One Coat Bond SL, BRILLIANT NG, BRILLIANT Flow ensure the optimum adhesive for the
COMPONEER BRILLIANT. The following description of the products refers exclusively to their use with
COMPONEER BRILLIANT.
2.1. ETCHANT GEL S
Definition
Etchant Gel S is for conditioning the dentine and enamel region to prepare them for adhesive fixing (see
application 3.8. Conditioning)
Composition
Water, phosphoric acid 35%
Contraindications
Avoid contact with gingiva or neighbouring teeth. In case of allergies to constituents of the product. Pa-
tients with poor oral hygiene.
Side effects
Constituents of Etchant Gel S may cause sensitisation in persons pre-disposed to sensitisation. Extended
contact with vital dentine may result in post-operative pain.
Interactions with other agents.
Contamination of the etched and dried enamel with saliva will counteract the adhesive effect of the adhe-
sive systems. Avoid contact with gingiva and neighbouring teeth.
2.2. ONE COAT BOND SL
Definition
One Coat Bond SL is a light-cured, multifunctional single component bonding agent for enamel and den-
tine and an activator for COMPONEER BRILLIANT (see application 3.9. and 3.10. One Coat Bond SL).

Polyalkenoate methacrylized
Amorphous silica
Contraindications
In case of allergies to constituents of One Coat Bond SL. Inadequate oral hygiene. If the work area cannot
be kept dry.
