1. GENERAL
1.1 Applications
Pumps for clear liquids in residential, agricultural, industrial, and other
applications. (water supply, water tower, sprinkling, irrigation, high
pressure washing, fire protection, lifting condensates, air conditioning,
industrial circuits) and integration in all modular systems.
- Boiler water supply with mandatory BY-PASS kit.
1.2 Specifications
• Max. service pressure:
- PN 25 casing
- PN 16 casing
• Max. suction pressure
• Temperature range:
- Version EPDM o'ring and mechanical seal : - 15° to + 120°C
(potable water WRAS/KTW approved version)*
- Version Viton o'ring and mechanical seal : - 15° to + 90°C
• Ambient temperature (standard)
• Suction head
* WRAS: to English standard. KTW: to German standard.
Sound level : Depend on pump size, rotation speed, working point,
motor type : it can 81 dB(A) in 50 Hz and 86 db(A) in 60 Hz.
2. SAFETY
Read this data sheet carefully before installing and starting up. Pay
special attention to the points concerning the safety of the equip-
ment for the intermediate or end user.

3. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
When taking delivery of the equipment, check that it has not been
damaged in transit. If anything is found wrong, take the necessary
steps with the carrier within the allowed time.
If the equipment delivered is to be installed at a

later time, store it in a dry place and protect it from
impacts and outside hazards (moisture, frost, etc.).
Due to high position of centre of gravity and small ground sur-
face of this type of pumps, beware of unstability during hand-
ling to avoid any falling down and take necessary means to
avoid injuries or damaging.
Handle the pump carefully so as not to alter the geometry or align-
ment of the hydraulic assembly.

5. INSTALLATION
Two standard cases:
• Fig. 1: Pump in suction
• Fig. 2: Pump under pressure from storage tank (item 9) or town
water supply (item 10), with dry-running protection system.
5.1 Installation
Install the pump in a place that is easy to reach, protected from frost,
and as close as possible to the place from which water is drawn.
For heavy pumps, provide a point of attachment (lifting hook, item
12) in the pump centreline to facilitate removal.
Install the pump on a concrete foundation block (item 13) at least 10
cm high and attach by anchor bolts (for installation surface, see Fig. 3).
Place an insulating material (cork or reinforced rubber) under the
concrete block to avoid transmitting noise and vibrations to the rest
of the installation.
Before final tightening of the anchor bolts, make sure that the pump
centreline is quite vertical; use shims if necessary.
