2.4.6 Tare preset
If you know the weight of your containers, you can scan barcodes or input SICS commands
to enter the tare weight, so you do not have to tare the empty container, see section 4.5.2,
page 39.
Prerequisite
9 Destination of External input mode set as Preset tare.

The entered tare weight is valid until a new tare weight is entered or the tare weight is
cleared.
2.5 Working with identifications
Two identification numbers (ID1 and ID2) with up to 40 characters can be assigned to
weighing series. The identifications are also printed out in the protocols. If, for example, a
customer number and an article number are assigned, the protocol shows which article
was weighed for which customer.
You can enter the ID via barcode scanning (only one of the IDs can be entered):

Set ID1 or ID2 as destination of External input mode.

ID1 or ID2 can be displayed in the auxiliary line.

2.6 Printing results
If a printer or computer is connected, weighing results and other information can be printed
or transferred to the computer.
