4.2.2 Description of the Scale Menu Block
Scale –> Calibration
This menu item is not available for verified scales.
1. Unload scale.

After calibration is complete, -Done- appears briefly on the display.
The calibration process can be cancelled by pressing
Scale –> Display/Units – Weighing unit and display accuracy
Select weighing unit 1: g, kg, oz, lb, t
Select weighing unit 2: g, kg, oz, lb, t
Select readability (resolution). The possible settings depend on the connected scale
capacity.
When unit roll is switched on, the weight value can be displayed in all available units

In case of verified scales, individual sub-items of the Display menu item may not be
available or only to a limited extent, depending on the respective country.
Scale –> Zero – Automatic zero update
On verified scales, this menu item is not displayed.

Possible settings: Off; 0.5 d; 1 d; 2 d; 5 d; 10 d
Scale –> Tare – Tare function
Switch on/off automatic taring.
Switch on/off chain tare
Switch on/off automatic clearing of the tare weight when the load is removed from the
scale.
• On: The tare weight is automatically cleared if the gross weight is 0 or below.
• Off: No automatic clearing of the tare weight.
• 9 d: The tare weight is automatically cleared if the gross weight is within
+/– 9 display steps.
