To replace the guide wheels (Soff-
Cut 150 D)
Use the ¼ʺ wide guide wheels when chasing ¼ʺ saw
cuts with the XL6- V25-D blade. Front and rear guide
wheels are included with the saw.
Note: Both front and rear guide wheels must be
replaced; do not mix different width guide wheels.
1. Remove lock nut and slide out the shoulder bolt.
2. Make a note of the washers and other parts removed
and the order of assembly.
3. Slide the bronze bushing from inside the old front
guide wheel and insert into the new one.
4. Slide the bronze bushing from inside the old rear
guide wheel and insert into the new one.
5. Install the new guide wheels using the same
shoulder bolts, lock nuts and plastic washers.
Half-inch wide guide wheels, not included with the saw,
are also available for use with ProEdge Blade XL6-
V500-D, when chasing ½ʺ wide saw cuts.
To adjust the blade depth (Soff-
Cut 150 D)
CAUTION: The radius and V-blade depth of
cut is preset at maximum depth at the
factory for optimum performance. Do not
adjust unless necessary. Adjust only for
shallower cuts with narrower width. Do not

adjust for more depth. Doing so will produce
an undesirable beveled cut as shown in the
figure.
1. Loosen the jam nut for the depth stop adjustment
counterclockwise.
2. Turn the depth adjustment bolt clockwise. Each full
revolution of the depth adjustment bolt will reduce
the beveled or radius cut width by ⅛".
3. Loosen the jam nut for the plunge adjustment
counterclockwise. Make sure that the rear wheels
are flat on the ground by pushing down on the rear
of the mainframe.
4. Turn the plunge adjustment screw clockwise by hand
until it touches the guide wheel shaft.
5. Back off a quarter turn counterclockwise and lock in
place by tightening the jam nut for the plunge
adjustment.
6. Chase an existing saw joint for approximately one
foot to verify that the correct decorative cut is
achieved.
