5.3 Grinding size adjustment
Regardless of the type of appliance in
your possession (coffee grinder-doser
or coffee grinder) and the relative model/
version, to change the degree of grinding
of the coffee it is necessary to use the ad-
justment ring (Item 1) located under the
hopper (Item 2).
To vary the granulometry of the ground it
is necessary to:
• Start grinding the coffee.
• Press and hold down the Ring Nut Lock
lever (Item 3).
• Turn the ring nut clockwise to grind
coarser.
• Turn the ring nut anti-clockwise to grind
finer.
• Release the lever (Item 3) to lock the
ring nut in the new position.
Note: For the coffee grinder-doser F4 A
there is no Ring Nut Lock Lever (Item 3)
. Instead, there is a Ring Nut Lock Fer-
rule (Item 4) which does not need to be
pressed. To vary the degree of grinding,
therefore simply turn the adjustment ring
nut directly (Item 1).

The adjustment must be made with the
motor running. It is advisable to grind
small quantities of coffee for a visual as-
sessment of the degree of grinding.
