6 - Pressurised water jets may only be used on ex-
ternal parts.
7 - Remove food residues immediately before they
set.
8 - Remove the limescale deposits which may form
on some of the appliance's surfaces.
CLEANING THE HOB, BURNERS AND ACCESSORIES
Avoid leaving the components dirty for long and,
periodically,according to the intensity of work (if
necessary daily),proceed as indicated below:
1-Switch the appliance off and leave it to cool.
2-Remove the grill, the burner cap (A) and the
burner (B).
3 - Put them to soak in hot water with dishwasher
soap.
4-Wash with a normal sponge and if necessary a
scourer to remove any dirt thoroughly.
5-Check that the holes of the burner cap (A) are al-
ways completely clear for the regular flow of
gas. To remove possible dirt, insert a metal rod
wire) into the hole and slide it through until it is
thoroughly clean.
6-Check the burner (B) ignition slot (cutoff ) is al-
ways completely clear for the normal flow of
gas. To remove any dirt, insert a blade like a
trimming knife in the slot, sliding it around until
it is thoroughly clean.
7 - Carefully clean all the connecting parts between
the burner cap (A) and the burner (B). If neces-
sary use a steel wire brush for mechanics.
8 - Clean every part of the hob with a suitable de-
greaser.
9 - Dry the surfaces and reassemble the parts.For
the correct assembly of the burner (B) and bur-
ner cap (A), follow the directions given in the il-
lustration.
10-.Turn on the burners for a few minutes to ensu-
re a thorough drying and thus avoiding the for-
mation of rust.
Caution - warning
Do not wash cast iron parts such as the bur-
ners, burner caps and grills in a dishwasher.
Caution - warning
Never pour water or allow dirt to fall into the
burner as this will cause the burner to mal-
function or block the nozzle.
