Preventing the Settings
from Changing During
Performance
Disabling Everything Except Piano
Play (Panel Lock)
The "Panel Lock" function locks the ep 880 in a state
where only piano performance can be used, and all
buttons will be disabled. This prevents the settings from
being inadvertently modified even if children press the
buttons accidentally.
In the Panel Lock state, only the grand piano sound can be
played.
1.
Turn the volume to the minimum, and press the
[Power] switch to turn off the power.
2.
Hold down the [PIANO] button and press the
[Power] switch to turn on the power.
The following display will appear.
All buttons are disabled.
3.
Adjust the volume.
When you play the keyboard, the grand piano sound
will be heard.
To defeat the Panel Lock function, turn the volume
down to the minimum, and turn on the power once
again.
Disabling the Buttons When Using a
Tone Other Than Piano (Tone Lock)
Even when using Tones other than the Piano, you can set
the instrument so all of its buttons are disabled (the
settings in effect at that time will be maintained).
1.
Hold down the [DEMO] button and press the
[KEY TOUCH] button.
The song or the metronome sound that is playing will
stop. The following will appear in the display:
All buttons are disabled while the instrument is set
like this. To cancel the Tone Lock function, once again
hold down the [DEMO] button while you press the
[KEY TOUCH] button.
