7.1 Exchanging control unit fuses
Defective control unit fuses can be replaced by the user without outside help. They can be found at the
back of the device in the fuse compartment next to the main switch:
1) Plug out mains cable.
2) Open fuse compartment with a screw driver.
3) Replace defective fuse T1AL 250 VAC.
4) Insert fuse holder again and close fuse compartment.
5) Check displayed mains voltage on fuse compartment.
6) Plug back mains cable.

7.2 Technical Safety Inspections
Various countries require technical safety inspections of medical devices in regulations. The technical
safety inspection is a legal periodic safety check required for operators of medical devices. The
objective of this measure is the timely identification of faults and risks for patients, users or third parties.
The stipulated inspection interval for the TCM 3000 BL is 2 years.

7.3 Discarding instructions
When discarding the device, device components and accessories, please comply with the
issued statutory regulations.
With regard to the preservation of the environment old equipment may be returned to the
distributor or manufacturer.
