TO EXTINGUISH THE BARBECUE
•
Close all vents and the lid.
•
Do not use water to extinguish the charcoal, as this may damage the structure of the Kamado.
MAINTENANCE TIPS
•
The Kamado is self-cleaning: heat it to 260°C for 30 minutes to burn off any remaining food and debris.
•
Wait until the Kamado has cooled completely before emptying the ashes.
•
To clean the cooking grate, use a non-abrasive cleaner.
•
A cracking effect may appear on the outer surface of your Kamado after use, this is a normal
phenomenon and does not affect the quality of your Kamado in any way. This effect will disappear
with a damp cloth when cold.
•
When not in use for a longer period of time, store the Kamado in a clean and dry place.
•
Tighten the bands and oil the hinge at least twice a year.
