USEFUL INFORMATION
ABOUT YOUR KAMADO
The Kamado owes its origin to the Mushi-kamado from Japan. This round clay pot with a removable
dome was used for steaming rice.
The ceramic, which is the main component of the Kamado, ensures that it retains heat. High
temperatures can be maintained over time thanks to precise control of the air flow.
The Kamado barbecue offers various cooking methods: low temperature cooking (slow cooking), high
temperature cooking (fast cooking), and smoking. Using your Kamado correctly will allow you to bring
out the flavours of your food.
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING
Read the following assembly instructions carefully before assembling and using this product. If you
are assembling this product for someone else, please give them this document to read for future use.
The Kamado should be installed on a stable horizontal surface before use.
For your safety, do not light the Kamado using liquid fuel or firelighters.
Before first use, place the charcoal grate on the bottom of the Kamado, fill the pan with charcoal and
light it to allow it to burn and glow for at least 30 minutes.
Do not use wood logs with your Kamado charcoal.
The tank has a capacity of approximately 3kg of standard charcoal. It is advisable to use gloves when
using the Kamado to protect yourself from heat and flames.
WARNING!
This barbecue will become very hot. Do not move it during use.
Do not use in closed rooms!
CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, gasoline or similar liquids to start or reactivate the fire.
Do not leave the barbecue within the reach of children and pets.
Be careful with sharp edges. Every effort has been made in the manufacture of the Kamado to detect
and remove sharp edges. However, you must handle all parts carefully to avoid any risk of injury.
Before starting to cook, wait for a layer of ash to cover the fuel. Do not place food on the grill until there
are embers.
