ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

The electric connections must be made exclusively
by qualified staff, in compliance with all general and
local safety regulations in force.
Check that the mains power supply voltage and fre-

quency match those of the appliance.
The electrical cables MUST NOT come into contact
■
with hot or moving parts, unless they have been insu-
lated and protected with suitable materials.
Only use components with adequate electrical pro-
■
tection rating.

Prior to making any electrical connection, discon-
nect the appliance from the power supply.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for inju-
■
ry to persons and animals or damage to objects due
to failure to earth the appliance or to comply with ap-
plicable regulations.
To make the electrical connections, access the appliance's electrical
devices, as specified in the chapter

6.8.1 POWER SUPPLY CORD
The appliance is supplied with a power cord that must be plugged
into a power outlet having the same voltage and frequency as the
appliance.

The appliance's safety is ensured when it is properly
connected to an efficient earthing system.
When making the electric connection to the mains

power supply, include a 6 A – Id 30 Ma residual-cur-
rent device with suitable breaking load.
Make sure that the power supply cord, when in its
■
definitive position, does not come into contact with
hot surfaces.
The power cord should only be plugged in once the
■
appliance has been installed and assembled, and
must remain accessible after the installation.
