Maintenance work
To avoid corrosion, depending on the work-
ing environment, daily grease the tool
mounting after use, or rub a lubricant such
as WD-40 into it.
Wipe down the housing with a slightly
damp cloth.
The optical components such as the lens
and camera should be kept free of oil, dust
and fingerprints. Clean them with a non-
linting cloth to which a little alcohol has
been applied.
Clean the screen with a commercially-avail-
able glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
1. Move the guided units to their respective
end positions.
2. Inspect the guides for the tower and anti-
rotation arm and grease them as necessary.
» Use multi-purpose grease. Recommend-
ation: LGEP 2/1 from SKF.
Check the calibration and check the guides
for play.
Check the electrical components (including the
power supply unit) for conformity to national
regulations.
