TROUBLESHOOTING
Cause
- Child unit (with image and sound
transmitter function) and/or parent unit
(with image and sound receiver function)
are switched OFF.
- The alkaline batteries on the child unit
and/or the rechargeable battery pack on
the parent unit are dead.
- The mains adaptors on the child unit /
parent unit are disconnected or connec-

- No power supply
- No sound is picked up by the child
unit (with image and sound transmitter
function);
- The voice activation mode has been
selected
- The volume on the parent unit (with
image and sound receiver function) is set
too low;
- The alkaline batteries on the child unit
(with image and sound transmitter fun-
ction) and/or the rechargeable battery
pack on the parent unit (with image and
sound receiver function) are dead.
- The parent unit (with image and sound
receiver function) could be switched off.
- HOPPING technology guarantees
protection against interference caused
by similar devices, however on rare occa-

presence of another similar device tran-
smitting in the immediate vicinity.
- Electromagnetic pollution (vicinity to
transmitting radio aerials, high voltage
cables etc).
- Presence of obstacles, metal structures,
reinforced concrete walls etc. between
the child unit (with image and sound
transmitter function) and the parent unit
(with image and sound receiver function).

Solution
- Switch on the child unit (with image
and sound transmitter function) and/or
parent unit (with image and sound recei-
ver function)
- Replace the alkaline batteries on the
child unit (with image and sound tran-
smitter function) and/or the rechargeable
battery pack on the parent unit (with
image and sound receiver function).
- If the units are powered using the mains
adaptors, check that these are connected
correctly to the mains sockets
- Check that the socket has power supply.
- As soon as any noise/sound is picked up
by the transmitter, the child unit (with
image and sound receiver function) will
be activated. In any case, to make sure
it works, asks someone to speak into the
transmitter in the child's room to make
sure you are receiving properly.
-Check the operating mode settings If
the orange LED (9) around the voice
activation mode ON/OFF button (8) is
ON, and the display screen is black, this
means that it is operating in voice activa-
tion mode.
- Press the volume button +
(3) to maximum level on the parent unit
(with image and sound receiver function)
until you hear sounds/noise.
- Replace the alkaline batteries on the
child unit (with image and sound tran-
smitter function) and/or the rechargeable
battery pack on the parent unit (with
image and sound receiver function).
- Turn the parent unit (with image and
sound receiver function) ON
- Move the device away from similar devi-
ces and/or move away from this position.
- Bring the units closer together or reposi-
tion them to reduce the number of obsta-
cles, metal structures, reinforced concrete
walls etc. between them.
- Replace the alkaline batteries on the
child unit (with image and sound tran-
smitter function) and/or the rechargeable
battery pack on the parent unit (with
image and sound receiver function).
