9. Network confi guration
The WLAN (wireless) network configuration is possible for the internet radio.
•
If you are on a wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n network, you can connect the internet
radio to the internet via WLAN.
When using the device for the first time, you must select an access point (AP)
and enter the network key, if applicable. The radio will then always connect
to this AP automatically. If the AP can no longer be found, a message appears
accordingly.
9.1. Accessing the web interface of the internet radio
The web interface is designed for displaying information, displaying the
status and for changing the device name.
When you enter the IP address of the internet radio in your browser, the
web interface of the internet radio is displayed.
You can find the current IP address under SYSTEM SETTINGS/NETWORK/

VIEW SETTINGS.
10. Connecting to a power supply
Connect the power supply plug on the supplied mains adapter to the DC IN
socket on the device.
Plug the mains adapter into an easily accessible power socket.
To switch on the power supply, switch on the device using the on/off switch on
the back.
11. Using the device for the fi rst time
When using the device for the first time, the language selection dialogue is
displayed first.
Select a language for the internet radio menu and press OK on the remote
control to confirm your selection.
The internet radio then starts with a message directing you to the website www.
medion.com/iradio-privacy on a PC or mobile device to read the privacy policy.
Press OK on the remote control to accept the data protection information.
After this, the set-up wizard starts.
Confirm the prompt SETUP WIZARD START NOW? with YES to start the set-
up wizard.
The set-up wizard is displayed (in the previously set language):
If you select NO, you can select in the next window whether the wizard
is to start the next time the device is switched on.
