To disconnect the power supply to your device or to
completely isolate the device from voltage sources, remove
the mains adapter from the power socket.
The mains adapter consumes a small amount of power even
when the device is switched off. To completely disconnect the
mains adapter from the power supply, it must be removed
from the power socket.
To remove the mains adapter from the socket, always take
hold of the adapter by the housing. Never pull on the cable.
The mains adapter must not be opened.
Do not cover the mains adapter.
Remove the mains adapter from the power socket
immediately if you hear unusual noises coming from the
mains adapter or the device, or if you discover smoke coming
from the mains adapter or device.
Do not place containers filled with liquid, e.g. vases, on or
near the device, and protect all the parts from dripping or
sprayed water. Such containers may tip over and the liquid
may impair the electrical safety of the device.
Never open the device housing and do not push objects
inside the device through the slots and openings.
In the event of damage to the mains adapter or the device
itself or if liquids or foreign bodies get into the device, unplug
the mains adapter immediately.
Unplug the mains adapter from the socket if you are away for
a long period or there is a thunderstorm.
