fuel near open fire or stoves,
boilers, hot water boilers, etc.

sparks or promote spark for-
mation.
 Do not smoke or use open fire
during refueling or in fuel stor-
age areas.
 Do not over-fuel when refue-
ling. Do not exceed the maxi-
mum mark of the refueling
nozzle.
 Refueling is only allowed in a
well ventilated space and
when the engine is off. The fu-

fuel tank cap is locked when
refueling is complete.
 In case of repeated or pro-

ing fuel.
 Cool the warm engine for 2
minutes before refueling.
 Keep flammable materials
and articles away from the
muffler (at least 2 metres).
 Do not start the engine without
the muffler. Inspect and clean
the muffler regularly and re-
pair it if necessary.
 If no exhaust unit with spark
arrestor is installed, the en-
gine cannot be used in for-
ests, shrubs or grasslands.
 Failure to properly set the ad-

The engine should be cooled
before being stored in a con-

 Hands and feet must never
get close to moving or rotating

not operated with the cover on
the air filter or the short intake
tube removed.
 Do not run the engine if the fu-
el system is damaged or leak-
ing. Regularly inspect the fuel
system and replace damaged
parts.
 The safety tips in the instruc-
tions do not cover all situa-
tions of use. As a rule,
adequate safety precautions
should be ensured during
maintenance and operation.
CAUTION ● To avoid burning
risk or damage to the engine,
the cooling unit and starter rope
