7.2 Cleaning
CAUTION!
Physical injuries and damage to property and the environment
Improper cleaning may lead to physical injuries and damage to property
and the environment. Residual media in and on the instrument can result
in a risk to persons, the environment and equipment.
▶
Carry out the cleaning process as described below.
1. Before cleaning, correctly disconnect the instrument from the pressure supply, switch
it off and disconnect it from the mains.
2. Use the requisite protective equipment.
3. Clean the instrument with a moist cloth.
Electrical connections must not come into contact with moisture!
ATTENTION!
Damage to the instrument
Improper cleaning may lead to damage to the instrument!
▶
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
▶
Do not use any hard or pointed objects for cleaning.
4. Flush or clean the instrument, in order to protect persons and the environment from
damage through residual media.
8. Dismounting, return and disposal
WARNING!
Danger due to overpressure explosion
Improper dismounting of pressurised components may lead to an
overpressure explosion.
▶
Before dismounting, completely empty the model ACS-10 or relieve it of
excess pressure (e.g. with an external compressor, model GVC-10) and
then vent to equalise the pressure.
CAUTION!
Physical injuries and damage to property and the environment
caused by hazardous decomposition products
Upon contact with hazardous decomposition products, there is a danger
of physical injuries and damage to property and the environment.
▶
Before dismounting, fully empty the instrument of SF₆ gas (e.g. with
external vacuum compressor model GVC-10)
▶
Wear the requisite protective equipment.
