■ Dry any traces of water with a soft cloth.
■ Where there are stubborn stains, use hot water to remove them, subsequently adding
detergent.
■ Stones are a natural product. Routinely check for broken stones:in such an instance,
replace them.
■ Wash the stones under running water; subsequently, place them on the heater.
Do not place the stones in layers! Always try and leave space between stones,
so that hot air coming from below can circulate freely.
Special maintenance
The present operations must be carried out by qualified, specialist personnel.
■ Use a delicate abrasive cleaning paste for tough stains and light scratches, slightly
rubbing down (with circular movements) the relevant part using a sponge. Rinse
thoroughly with hot water and dry with a soft cloth.
Accidental marks from chemical substances (acids, diluents, acetone based products...)
must be immediately removed using water and soap.
■ Use sandpaper (240 grain) following the direction of the wood grain.
If there is no decalcifier in the water system supplying water to the appliance, routinely check
that there are no incrustations on the steamer as they may compromise correct operation of
the resistors.
Should you need to remove scale deposits, do the following:
■ Remove the steamer cover and ensure that it is full with water (level: approximately 10
cm from its opening).
■ If the appliance is equipped with a tank (S) for automatic water filling, close the tap (R).
■ Pour the scale removal product into the steamer, following the instructions detailed on
the product packaging.
■ Select the "bio sauna" programme and bring the water to boiling point for approximately
10 minutes; leave it to cool down.
■ Connect a pipe to the rubber holder situated under the steamer, use a container in
which to collect the dirty water.
Open the tap located above the rubber holder.
■ Rinse the steamer a couple of times, once you have finished the operation, close the tap
above the rubber holder and remove the pipe used to drain the water. Refill the steamer
with fresh water and re-position the cover.
If the appliance is equipped with a tank for automatic water filling, open the tap situated
between the tank and the steamer.
NOTE: empty the steamer for long periods of disuse.
