6.1. Free-standing installation

Instead of mounting the device under a wall cupboard or a shelf unit, you can also
put it on a table or a cupboard without having to fix it permanently into place. The
device has feet for this purpose.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Damage to the device caused by improper handling.
 Operate the device on a stable, level and vibration-
free surface to prevent the device from falling. Some
aggressive varnishes can corrode the rubber feet
on the device. If necessary, place the device on a
suitable underlay.
 Keep the device at a distance of at least one metre
from sources of high-frequency or magnetic
interference (televisions, other loudspeakers, mobile
telephones etc.) to avoid malfunctions.
7. Preparing for fi rst use

7.1. Inserting the battery in the remote control

The remote control contains a CR2025 3 V lithium battery.
When you use the remote control for the first time, pull out the
transparent strip marked "Remove before use" without opening the
battery compartment.
WARNING!
Risk of chemical burns!
If the battery compartment does not close properly, the
button cell may be swallowed unintentionally.
 In this case, stop using the remote control and keep
it away from children.
Replace the battery if the device fails to react to commands from the remote control
properly. Then follow these steps:
