Transmission and Drum

The gear reduction assembly for the transmission is maintenance-free and
permanently lubricated. It should be inspected monthly for leaks or damage and
should be inspected by a factory service center after the first year of use. The gear
reduction system is completely enclosed in a die-cast aluminum housing with a
sealed lubrication system. Gears and bearings operate in a grease bath.
