Thank you for choosing the Beta Max portable hoist.
The intended purpose of this manual is to inform, guide, and educate the owner/operator on
the safe operation and maintenance of the portable hoist. This manual applies to seven models
of portable hoists (Beta Lite, Scorpio Plus, Scorpio Plus XL, Gemini Plus, New Yorker, Leo,
Leo XXL) and will note model-specific topics where applicable.
All Beta Max hoists meet or exceed ANSI, CSA, OSHA, and UL specifications.
