Specified Conditions of Use
Protective gas welding device for the thermal con-
nection of ferrous metals by melting the edges and
feeding in an additive.
Only wire electrodes which are suitable for the
device may be used.
The device is an arc welding device with a limited
duty cycle and corresponds to class A according to
standard 60974-10. The device is suitable for occasi-
onal industrial and commercial purposes, as well as
occasional short work in the hobby and DIY sector.

Observing the safety instructions, the assembly in-
structions and the operating instructions in the user

The welding device may not be used:
• in rooms that do not have sufficient ventilation
• in a damp or wet environment,
• in an explosive environment,
• to defrost pipes,
• close to people who have a pacemaker and
• close to flammable materials

Requirements for operating staff
The operating staff must carefully read the Opera-
ting Instructions before using the appliance.
Since the use of the device if handled incorrectly can
entail considerable risks, only knowledgeable persons
may be entrusted with the use of it.
The operator must be appropriately trained in setting
up, operating and using the machine.
Qualification: Apart from the detailed instructions
by a professional, no special qualification is necessary
for appliance using.
Minimum age: Persons over 18 years of age can
only work on the appliance. An exception includes
youngsters trained in order to reach knowledge
under supervision of the trainer during occupational
education.
Training: Using the appliance only requires corres-
ponding training by a professional or the Operating
Instructions. No special training is necessary. The
operator is responsible for accidents or risks to third
parties.
Residual Risk
Despite the observance of the operating instructions
there still may be some hidden residual risks.
Even when the flux cored electrode welding device is
operated properly, there are still residual risks associ-
ated with the use of the device The following hazards
may arise in connection with the construction and
design of this flux cored electrode welding device:
• Eye injuries as a result of glare,
• Touching hot parts of the device or the workpiece
(burn injuries),
• In the event of improper protection, the risk of
accidents and fire as a result of spraying sparks or slag
particles,
• Emissions which have adverse health effects as a
result of smoke and gas, in the event of lack of air
and/or insufficient extract ventilation in closed rooms.
Reduce the residual risk by operating the flux cored
electrode welding device carefully and properly and
follow all instructions..
Emergency procedure
Conduct a first-aid procedure adequate to the injury
and summon qualified medical attendance as quickly
as possible. Protect the injured person from further
harm and calm them down.
