El elemento de sobreintensidad temporal de neutro puede proporcionar una característica de operación de retardo de
tiempo deseada frente a la corriente aplicada, o puede utilizarse como un elemento de tiempo definido simple. El valor de
la entrada de corriente de neutro es una cantidad calculada como 3Io de las corrientes de fase y se puede programar
como magnitud de fasor fundamental o magnitud eficaz de forma de onda total según lo requiera la aplicación.
Existen dos métodos de operación de reposición: "Timed" e "Instantaneous" (consulte la subsección Curvas características
de sobreintensidad temporal inversa si desea detalles sobre la configuración de la curva, tiempos de disparo y operación
de reposición). Cuando el elemento está bloqueado, el acumulador de tiempo se repone de acuerdo con la característica
de reposición. Por ejemplo, si la característica de reposición del elemento se establece en "Instantaneous" y el elemento
está bloqueado, el acumulador de tiempo se borrará inmediatamente.
