•
If the appliance has been damaged during transportation,
you should immediately notify the company responsible for
delivering it.
•
Carefully lift out the water purifier by taking hold of the
plastic bag and the rear handgrip. The appliance can be dam-
aged if it is lifted in any other way.
•
Check the purifier for any signs of damage and check that no
accessories are missing. Any damage, faults or missing parts
should be notified to the supplier.
•
Do not leave the packaging material lying around so that
children can play with it.
•
Remove the hose, see fig. 8.
POsitiOning the WateR PuRifieR
The water purifier must be installed under the sink unit and the
following points should be observed:
•
The purifier is installed upright, without support, on a hori-
zontal surface that can take the load.
•
The installation space should be close to cold water supply,
drainage and an earthed electrical supply.
•
It should be easy to inspect the control panel.
•
It should be possible to open the front cover so that the filter
container can be accessed.
•
The water purifier should be installed with a 2 cm gap to any
adjacent fittings or walls to ensure good ventilation around
the appliance.
•
Connections can be routed in any direction from the con-
nection point; make sure no connections are crushed or
damaged. The dimensions of the area required for the water
purifier are specified in fig. 9.
installing the PuRe WateR faucet
The pure water faucet is supplied complete with a pure water
hose. The faucet can be raised and lowered and can be turned in
either direction. If the hose has to be cut, use a sharp knife e.g.
a carpet knife, so that a flat, smooth and circular cut surface is
achieved. This is essential in order for the connection to be
watertight.
If the distance between the faucet's highest point and the
water purifier's highest point is less than 500 mm, water
can drip from the faucet during flushing (fig. 9).
1.
Mark the position on the sink unit where the pure
water faucet is to sit. Make sure there is room on the
underside for the hose and the faucet fittings.
2.
Drill a hole with a diameter Ø 20 mm.
3.
Install the pure water faucet on the sink unit as
shown in fig. 10 (A). Maximum unit thickness is 0
mm. Adjust the height of the faucet to the desired
position and secure it with the black nut. Make sure
that the cable to the faucet does not get jammed dur-
ing installation, see fig. 10 (B).

FEED CONNECTION: The water purifier is connected to
cold water (2 - 0 °C) via the feed water hose. The connection
should be supplied with an easily accessible shut-off valve, see
fig. 11. If the connection is with new pipes or pipes that have
not been in use for an extended period, the water should be
allowed to run for a while before the hose is connected in order
to flush out sand and rust.
1.
Check that the black washer is in position in the con-
nection on the feed water hose's straight end.
2.
Screw the feed water hose's straight end onto the
shut-off valve as shown in fig. 11. If the 3/" hose
connection does not fit, it can be changed to a 1/2"
connection using the adapter supplied.
3.
Put the black washer in the adapter and screw the
adapter onto the shut-off valve for feedwater.
.
Screw the feed water hose onto the adapter.
REjECT WATER OUTlET CONNECTION: The flushing
water passes via the reject water hose to the reject water outlet.
The hose may be extended up to m, and the minimum internal
diameter is 13 mm.
1.
The connection is made to the water trap via the
dishwasher drain or simular connections. If the reject
water outlet spigot is already connected, the inter-
mediate section should be changed to one with two
spigots.
2.
The reject water outlet spigot is placed before the
water trap.
3.
Affix the hose as shown in fig. 12 securely with the
aid of the hose clip and bracket for the reject water
hose. Note! The reject water hose should be placed
at least 50 mm above the water purifier's upper
section and existing water trap using the enclosed
bracket.
