9.8. Radio
9.8.1. Tuning the stations
Press the or button briefly to set a particular frequency.
Press and hold either or on the remote control or on the device to auto-
matically search for the next station.
9.8.2. Radio Data System
Use the Radio Data System to display more information, such as the radio station
name, the radio text or the current type of programme for a radio station.
Press the INFO button once, or several times, to display these functions.
9.8.3. Storing a radio station
Tune in a station that you would like to store.
Press the PROG button. The number of the memory slot where the station is to
be stored flashes on the display.
Use the / buttons to select the programme position for this station.
Then press the PROG button to store the station.
9.8.4. Storing stations automatically
Press and hold the PROG button until AUTO is briefly shown on the display
and the station search starts automatically.
All the stations found by the search are now stored automatically, one after the oth-
er.
9.8.5. Calling up station memory
Press / to call up stored radio stations, one after the other.
9.9. Playing back CDs and USB storage media
Note the following:
•
Due to the numerous different file systems and file formats, connected USB
memory sticks cannot be guaranteed to function.
•
Depending on the size of the data medium, it may take some time for the sys-
tem to be detected.
•
Depending on the medium, certain functions may not be supported.
•
External hard drives are not supported.
