green, indicating battery is being recharged.
3. Charge the device for at least 10 hours prior to first use. The battery light will be
continuously green, indicating battery is fully recharged.
A new completely charged device allows approximately 150 ten-second cures (total
operating time approximately 25 minutes). Thus, under most conditions of use, the
device will normally need recharging at the end of each day.
3.2 Operation
1. Attach the LED tip
tion.
2. Protect LED tip from contamination by applying the single use Disposa-Shield
tective barrier.
3. Use the protective shield supplied with the unit or suitable, light filtering safety
glasses.
4. Adjust the LED tip: The LED tip rotates by 360°, thus the position of light emission
may be freely adjusted. The LED tip must be adjusted to an angle that allows optimal
curing of the restoration. The LED tip should be positioned as closely as possible
to the restoration and may even touch the restoration as the LED tip is protected
by the Disposa-Shield
5. Polymerization: Briefly press the ON/OFF key
curing cycle are indicated by audible signals. Curing times for a range of materials
are outlined in the Curing Guide (Guides) provided. To cure a restorative material
that requires a curing time longer than 10 seconds, repeat activation by pressing the
ON/OFF key after the end of each 10-second curing cycle.
