4. Checks before use:

4.1 Battery connections.

Remove the big access cover for maintenance according to the figure below:
First, connect the red positive (+) cable to the positive (+) battery pole, according
to the figure below. Then connect the black negative (-) cable to the negative (-)
battery pole, as shown in the figure below.
NOTE: The battery is provided as a free offering, and so it is not considered
under the equipment warranty program. The battery has a limited life. If necessary,
replace it by an equivalent model.
