Arthrex Shoulder Suspension System AR-1650S
Instructions for Use
The Lateral Suspension Arm can be moved anteriorly or
posteriorly in regards to the patient. This may be helpful to
apply an opposite traction force to the shoulder joint. The
Lateral Sling's tension must be released prior to moving the
Lateral Suspension Arm. (Figure 21)

H. Removal and Storage
Removal of Disposable Components
Lateral Traction Sling
Remove the Lateral Traction Sling from the hook at the end of the
Lateral Sling Connector. Dispose of sling after use.
Arm Sleeve
Remove the Arm Sleeve from the Arm Connector by pressing down on
the white buttons to unclip the sleeve from the connector (Figure 22).
Dispose of arm sleeve after use.
Ensure that you are supporting the patient's arm before
releasing the sleeve from the connector.
