Instructions for Use
Lateral Sling Connector
Attach the Lateral Sling Connector by hooking it to the end of the
Tower furthest from the clamp
Once the hook has grabbed the pin, pull the lateral suspension arm into
place using the Lateral Sling Connector. The Lateral Sling's position can
be manipulated by adjusting the position of the Connector.
Lateral Traction Sling Disposable (AR-1652)
Put the patient's arm in the sling so that the patient's arm is being held
up by the Lateral Traction Sling (Figure 18).

Mount the Lateral Traction Sling by attaching the loop end of the
Lateral Traction Sling on the hook on the bottom of the Lateral Traction
Connector (Figure 19).
Apply lateral traction by reducing the length of the Lateral Traction
Sling. The length of the sling can be adjusted by either pulling down on
the loop to increase the traction applied or reduced by pressing on the
white clip. Use the tensiometer on the Lateral Traction Sling connector
to determine the amount of traction needed to properly position the
patient (Figure 20).
Caution: Do not exceed 30lbs (13.6kg) traction
