The material to be vacuumed must not exceed a temperature of 40°C. Material
to be vacuumed which looks cooled from the outside can still be hot inside. The
material to be vacuumed can ignite itself again in the air fl ow and damage the
appliance.
Do not vacuum up liquids, soot or plaster and cement dust. The appliance could
be damaged by them.
Vacuum only the ash from permitted fuels.
Before and after vacuuming, empty and clean the metal container so as to prevent
the accumulation of materials that could pose a fi re risk in the vacuum cleaner.
Ensure that the appliance is assembled correctly and the fi lter is in the correct
position.
When vacuuming, do not place the appliance on heat sensitive fl oors. When
cleaning fi replaces or grills, use a heatproof underlay.
Do not extinguish hot ash particles with water, the sudden temperature diff erences
that can arise could cause cracks in your chimney.

of 40°C or 100°F.
